Being the first and only 1 out of 7 children to have the opportunity to attend university, Roland’s goal in life has always been to give back and leave a legacy. He developed a love for primary healthcare whilst working in rural district hospitals throughout the Western Cape and has subsequently amassed 13 years of experience in the field. Along with this, Roland has a keen affinity for sport and his advanced capabilities in this field have resulted in his involvement in various well-known sporting events. Roland also acts as team doctor for both the well-loved Hamiltons Rugby Club and the Western Province Rugby Union. Dr. Kroukamp embodies innovation in an ever-changing medical landscape.

As a mom, Chanel takes special interest in teenagers and mental health. She is passionate about healthcare and a firm advocate for preventative care. Her passion for anything extreme and adrenaline loaded is also what fuels her drive for innovative medical solutions. Chanel only qualified as a medical doctor later in life and spent most of her adult life traveling the world to judge skydiving. She was selected as Chief Judge for multiple World Parachuting Championships including indoor skydiving championships across the globe. Chanel holds a doctorate in Cardiovascular Physiology from the University of the Witwatersrand and remains actively involved in academic research.
